Speedy Hire pleases analysts with return to profit

SPEEDY Hire, the Newton-le-Willows plant hire group, has amazed the analysts and the rest of the business community as a result of profit in the six months to September 30. Ishbel Macpherson who is the chairman of Speedy Hire while commenting on the news said: “We are pleased to report the continuation of our recovery in these challenging times. Our strategy of aligning ourselves with stronger customers and market segments, focusing on our core activities and driving improved efficiency is ongoing. As a result, the board is confident of the group meetings its expectations for the financial year.”
