The Bank of England set for cliffhanger vote on QE2

According to recent news, the Bank of England is likely to launch a new round of asset buying with a view to protect the economy from the euro zone debt crisis. Simon Hayes, a Barclay’s analyst while commenting on the news said, "The effectiveness of QE is likely to depend on what actions are taken by other central banks and the degree of progress in resolving the euro debt crisis.”
